This was my main reason on going over to Tokyo. The final match day in the Yamazaki Nabisco Cup. Urawa Red Diamonds need a win to progress to the next stage of the competition, anything less will result in the Reds to being eliminated. The opponents; their cross town rivals Omiya Ardija.
The end result was a 6-2 victory to the Reds. The goal scorers were Naoki Yamada, Edmilson (2), Naohiro Takahara, Genki Haraguchi & Nobuhisa Yamada, with Haraguchi's goal being the pick of the bunch, it was a cracker of a goal (see below).

It was good to see Naoki Yamada and Genki Haraguchi joined in the starting line-up for this match by another youngster; Takuya Nagata. All three had a good game, with Nagata setting up Edmilson's second goal.
