Well this weekend, it just all went horribly wrong for my teams. Of the four teams, only Barcelona game through with a win; a 2-0 victory over Malaga. But the other three didn't fare to well. The Broncos were defeated by Melbourne 40-10 in the grand final qualifier, which means Melbourne has been to 4 straight grand finals. The Broncos have somewhat over achieved this year, with not too many people expecting them to get this far, so all in all it has been a good season for the Broncos, alot to look forward to next season. The Houston Texans also lost 31-24 to the Tennessee Titans. Sometimes I wonder why I put myself through this.
The forth lost was for me the most shattering of all; Urawa. Now I know after losing 7 straight games, it shouldn't really be "that" bad, but after getting back to our winning ways, I was expecting a little bit more from the boys. If we won, there was a slim chance of still fighting for the title, but alas, we lost 2-1 to Yokohama F Marinos. That means our season is basically over. The only thing to look forward to is the Emperors' Cup and seeing the youngsters play to build up for next season.
